I work at a neutron facility in Oxfordshire that scientists from all over the world visit to do experiments. I’m making and studying nanoparticles (really really small particles!) of a material called Zinc Sulphide to try and make the neutron detectors faster and better.

My Typical Day:
I like to start my morning by doing some yoga or going for a run. When I get into work I do lots of different things – sometimes I’m making new materials in the lab, other times I’m studying materials I’ve made with lots of fun and interesting techniques. I also have lots of coffee (and cake!) breaks with friends.
