      Yes, I work at a place called the ‘Advanced Technology Institute’ which is based at my university. In our building, we have lots of different labs. I work in several of them such as our magnet lab, our focused ion beam lab, our electronics lab, and our cleanroom (which is where we make new devices).

      If you’re curious to know what they look like, here’s a photo of our magnet lab (my favourite lab!):

      That big green cylinder is our superconducting electromagnet. Can you spot the little circular windows under the cylinder? We use those to shoot lasers at samples inside the magnet to study how electrons (and other particles) behave in different materials ⚛
