Hi, great question! This is a tricky one to answer as my job is to run our magnet test laboratory and to be a magnet design specialist. But the design specialist part of the job isn’t specific because it means i work on lots of different projects at any time, so one week i could be working on a high power beam bending magnet and the next week on a piece of shielding designed to keep magnetic fields away!
