• Question: What is the most amazing fact about yourself / thing that you have done?

      Work-wise, it’s got to be the fact I was part of the world record we achieved this year for fusion energy produced

      Personally, I’m very proud of the fact I have raced around the old Top Gear test track at Dunsfold!

      The most amazing thing I’ve done is probably scuba diving! I have a professional scuba qualification and can actually help teach scuba diving but I haven’t been for a while, unfortunately. In the past, I’ve dived in the Red Sea many times and also in the Farne Islands (we dived with seals and it was awesome).

      In terms of my work, it always surprises people that I’m a quantum physicist so I guess that would count as an amazing fact? Another unexpected fact about me is that I’m autistic 🧠♾

      The most amazing thing I have done is traveling to India to take some radio data of quasars! Also that I have got a job to be an Astronomer at Newcastle University 🙂

      Mine may be a bit boring, but I flunked out of university at one point 🙁

      But then I decided to go back and work hard to finish my degree, and now I’m working with robots doing a really cool job that I love!
