      Hi! Thanks for your question.

At Sixth Form I did A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry

These allowed me to get a place at the University of Southampton studying Electromechanical Engineering, later switching to Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Hey! I did physics, maths, further maths, and biology at A-level. Also general studies, but I’m not sure that counts as a real subject 😅

I read Physics and Philosophy at uni, and having done physics and double maths at A-level was really useful for that (physics and maths were required, further maths was very helpful). I took biology just because I was interested in it, and also it seemed nice to also do a subject which was more writing-based rather than just doing maths in all of my lessons. Maybe that helped with the philosophy side of my degree idk. But it also actually came useful in my 4th year when I discovered a module in biophysics which I found really interesting, and also did a biophysics project as my lab project that year – so there’s often ways of combining the things that you find interesting.

Hi! I did A levels in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. That got me into Swansea University to study physics, where i did a 4 year integrated masters degree in physics. I definitely recommend paying lots of attention in maths if you want to go on to do any of the sciences at uni!
