Probably a video game developer. There’s actually some cross-over skills since many games simulate physics. I actually work a lot with Nvidia, who make GPUs for both research computers and gaming computers!

GPU = graphical processing unit, a device that can do many many calculations in parallel (at the same time), very useful for solving equations required for simulations either in real time (for gaming) or at a high level of detail (for research).

I think I would be an artist if I wasn’t a scientist! I always enjoyed sciences and arts at school and was very torn as to what I wanted to do as a career. It’s been so great to go into science research because I’ve discovered that you actually need to be really creative to come up with ideas and design experiments to test different physics theories 😊

Probably an astronaut, a vet or a data scientist!
I changed my mind about what I wanted to do quite a lot when I was younger, and it was only when I was 20 that I decided to become an Astronomer 🙂

Great question! If I wasnt a scientist I probably would be a vet, or perhaps something completely different like a nail tech – I really enjoy being creative!✨
